Just over 77%, Highest rate reported so far!

My Final Count:

62 eggs set on 12-11-2013 @ 12 noon Central Time.
Hatch:
15 Naked Necks
8 Naked Neck Crosses w/o NN
24 Easter Eggers
1 Light Brahma
2 Blue Copper Marans
50 Total
So I had 50 out of 62 eggs hatch. Approximately 61% hatch rate. That's about usual for me. Have had up to 82%.

Wouldn't this be 80.6%? Grats on the very nice hatch!

so still just my lone ranger 3 are moving and 1 other will be a few days behind (fridge baby) ddont think twins made it ~hoping with will hatch could be late im a new hatcger with a new bator that well kinda sucks but im working with it best i can

QUESTION for all you peeps who fix crooked toes....

I realized my baby silkie, I want to show if it has potential, has a curled toe.

PROBLEM: the toe is one of the toes that is on another toe f this makes sense....how do I tape this toe straight without hurting her?

Catching up, not sure it's been answered. You can tape it separately. I use electrical tape. Works great! Keep it on for a day is all. Should be much better.

Still have one in the incubator, had to assist as it was shrink wrapped. Still not sure if it is going to make it, may have waited to long to assist. Also still have 5 eggs in the incubator, one has a very small pip from this afternoon. So I guess I still don't have a final count. The last 2 days have been extremely stressful, but I have also learned A LOT from this hatch.

All in all I have 18 beautiful babies in my brooder and very pleased with that.
