Picked these up March 17th as ducklings. One has been quaking for a couple of weeks now, the other more or less peeps still.
I am assuming I have a male and female.
One has some color on its chest and is the one that still peeps. Not the same peep as a baby, but closer to a peep. I know believe male.
The other has no coloring on the chest and quacks when picked up or followed in the yard. I believe female.
However, their head/neck coloring has me thrown. When I look up young drakes, these two look closer to both being drakes. However, there is. I indication of a white ring on their necks. The back of their necks are dark from head to body.
