Up for auction are 6+ (as of today I have 9 eggs!!) a couple extra hatching eggs from our lovely blue/black/splash silkies. Included in this breeding pen are 4 black hens, 4 splash hens, a splash cock and a black cockerel. There is also a blue cockerel, but we haven't seen him breeding yet. He is dancing and crowing so perhaps we just haven't caught him yet

We hatched these birds from some of the best breeders we could find and have waited a long time for them to grow up and begin laying and breeding. We were very selective weeding out those that did not fit our breeding program.

For those in cold areas that are concerned about shipping for fear of frozen eggs, I ship all eggs in thick-walled styrofoam shippers that will help protect them from cold and heat. Each eggs is bubble wrapped and place in the bubble wrap lined shipper, a shipping "pillow" is placed on top and the shipper is closed and taped well. I can include a hand warmer if you would like. Since we have started using them we have had no broken eggs and 2 buyers has 100% of their shipped eggs develop.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. This is only a one day auction because I will have enough by today to send them out tomorrow.

Shipping is a flat $8.00. We do our best to use recycled bubble-wrap, shippers, etc and pass our savings on to you.

Thank you so much. My daughter will be back in 5 weeks. Her tour will be over!! Thank your son for us...we know the sacrifice and it isn't small.

Phew....then you won't have to keep filling your world with chickens like I did.LOL gotta fill those worrisome voids somehow and why not a wonderful pet/provider who gives back so much.:<)

Please visit my youtube link below my siggy to see how things developed for me. Now my son is home he just loves checking out to see if any birds layed him an egg each day......although he might never admit it.

Silkies are his favorites and our little partridge named "Mona" talks and talks all the day long. Thus her name.

That was AWESOME!!!
