Only 3 have single comb, and the other 3 have rose comb... so one of the other combs is a sex link as well? I kinda assumed early on that the single combs were all the same breed, and the rose combs were all the same breed, since they looked the same as day-olds. But maybe not! lol
Very new to production breeds... and haven't had chickens for many years, so re-learning a lot!
Some hatcheries (like Hoover's, I think?) get a red sex link (they often call them "Cinnamon Queens, but diff hatcheries use different mixes) by crossing RIR with black laced silver wyandottes. Wyandottes are supposed to have rose combs, though many have straight/carry straight, so they'll produce chicks with either straight or rose.
