This is the only pic I have of them at this time. I need to try and get some better ones but with the holidays it's just sooo hectic!
They have excellent gold coloring and are large and fluffy. Very nice birds. All heritage blood, no hatchery lines here. These came from a fellow BYC member who has been breeding these for years.

I have a question, if they are heritage then why arent they more golden??? or is it the pictures, because i see a lot of white in them, because im wanting actual pure eggs so i want to make sure from people they ARE pure, and explain the white to me! thanks:D not to mean to be a gripe, im just particular!

They do have a creamy undercoat of feathers and had just finshed going through a molt to start laying again a week or so before.
These birds were hatched from BYC member, CoreyNC's, eggs earlier this year and I am sure their are others here on BYC who will remember her birds.

Buff Orps should not have a white or creamy undercoat. They should be a nice even golden color.
Here is a pic of one of our hens:

There is different shades of Buff Orps but they should be mostly 1 even shade thru out. Try and stay away from the 2 tone Buffs.
Thanks,
Sharon
