Definetely dark cornish- and a nice one at that!

I've raised those as meat birds- I would more often if I could get the chicks for a decent price.
A nice hearty, self-sufficient breed to raise. You almost don't need to grain them in the warm months- they're notorious as great foragers.

Dark cornish chicks are "chipmunk" colored.

There are now 11 live babies roaming around the stall! Three eggs were left over and candled this morning, and two were empty, one was dead..so 11 out of 15 eggs were hatched into healthy baby chickies! Wooooo hooooo!! Here are a few more pics~
