I have a 6-month old OE that since 24 weeks old was laying a beautiful dark green egg every other day. We've had 2 weeks of unseasonably cold weather here in N. WI, and I've not gotten a single egg from her during this time. She eats, she drinks, and she appears totally healthy. My other chickens are laying - albeit a decrease in quantity - I was getting 7-8 eggs every day and now it's down to 5 or 6 - again, no eggs from my OE (because the other eggs are cream, blue or brown). I've read my ladies (less than a year old) will lay through their first winter. I do have a light on in their coop that comes on at 6 a.m. and stays on until 9 a.m. Any thoughts on what's going on? Is it a breed thing?

It is most likely a factor of shortening day light period. Some pullets will lay through their first winter, others will not - it's both a breed and individual thing. As long as she is acting normal, I doubt there is a problem - other than the shortage of eggs.

So she's only been laying for 2 weeks(6 months is 26 weeks)?

How long have you had this light running?

Good point! She (and the others in my flock) were hatched on 4/1; she laid her first egg on 8/22 and laid every day/sometimes every other day until about 10/10 and that's when she's stopped.

Sunrise here has been about 7 a.m. and I started the light on 10/19 to go on at 6 a.m. and off two hours later. We go off DST next weekend at which point, I'll move the the time/clock on the timer back one hour so it will still go off at 6 a.m.
