6+ "Olive Egger" eggs!

Picture was taken in direct sunlight, and eggs appear to be "golden olive" - I've got three blue-colored EE hens that I use for olive egger eggs. Your eggs will be a medium olive-green color like the one in the bottom left of this pic:

And the offspring hatched will possibly lay the dark "golden olive" egg like the one pictured at the top of the pic above.

I only have one F2 hen laying, and she is a Penedesenca cross. She's the one laying the "golden olive" colored eggs. I do not have offspring from the other two hens I use; however, there are a few folks on BYC who have hatched them (PM for details if interested).

Most chicks will hatch blue, others are black, and some hatch brown. Here are pics of the hens:

Princess is the momma to my "golden olive" egger. I believe offspring from Shilo & Sweetie will lay a more dark olive with no golden overtones, but I could be wrong.

i love your birds and i love your eggs! i keep coming back just to look. i'm getting a broody SOON and i sure do hope you still have eggs when i do!
