Olive Eggers with CL or Ameraucana?

Well I'm no pro but I believe the hairless legged BCM is the American model but DON'T QUOTE ME! And please don't shoot me if I'm wrong. 🤣
USA standards call for lightly feathered legs and outer toes. Black, black copper, wheaten and white are the only varieties accepted by the APA.

"English standard" Marans in the UK should have clean (unfeathered) legs and the only recognised varieties are black, dark cuckoo, golden cuckoo and silver cuckoo.

(Info from Marans Chicken Club USA and The Marans Club UK)

There are lots of other varieties recognised in France (and present in other countries even when they aren't a recognised colour or type with its own standard there)

Not according to those websites. Black copper apparently isn't recognised in the UK either but they're still one of the more common varieties kept here.

I'm not an exhibition bird person but all I think it means is you can't enter those chickens in shows if there's not a standard for them (happy to be corrected on that by people who do know about that side of things)
