USA standards call for lightly feathered legs and outer toes. Black, black copper, wheaten and white are the only varieties accepted by the APA.Well I'm no pro but I believe the hairless legged BCM is the American model but DON'T QUOTE ME! And please don't shoot me if I'm wrong.![]()
"English standard" Marans in the UK should have clean (unfeathered) legs and the only recognised varieties are black, dark cuckoo, golden cuckoo and silver cuckoo.
