I just hatched 5 of these cuties. The 4 black and the lighter brown.

Thanks Deb and Beth. I'll have to check into them. I got the breeders from a friend in the group that is trying to preserve the breed too. She was very happy with the offspring and decided to work with those this year so she sold me her breeders. She got these from a guy in Illinois that only breeds Iowa Blues. His original stock came from Sandhill and Ideal several generations ago and has been breeding towards the proposed Standard. Thanks for asking.
