6 toed baby???

I got my 4 chicks about 2 weeks ago and I just realized that one of the mixed breeds has 12 toes total (6 on each foot) is this normal?

It may be a silkie breed...they have many toes..lol

A silkie should only have 10 toes. But can undesirably have a few extra.

I JUST NOTICED 6 TOES ON ONE OF MINE, lol he was going to be my lead roo?? he is very sweet and super cute!! is that a bad trate, because I did want to get my daughter into 4H with this guy, or should I pick another? I will take pics tonight when I go back to the nursery

Uh speaking of odd toed babys,

One of mine was hatched like litterly 12 days early!! We put them in on the 16th of July 2011 and it hatched on Thursday the 28th!! You might think I am crazy I am not kidding? Is that normal?
Oh wait theres more that Baby is the one with crooked toes? How can I fix it? I feel soo bad for him! What do I do???

One of my silkies has 6 toes on each foot! They actually look like one "split" toe that makes it look like two! Very freaky, but he/she is still adorable. Plus the feet feathers cover the extra digit!
