6 " visiting " duckies at my place.

Last night I came home with 6 ducks to quickly make up lodgings for. A man had realized ducks were alot more work than chickens and could no longer keep them. I agreed to help him find good homes for them all- without even knowing what breed or gender they were ( lucky it turns out 4 ducks two drakes- so shouldnt be to hard ) I sure wish I had plenty more room and could keep one of the trios for myself- they sure are pretty ducks.

Looks like dark campbells and khaki campbells - gorgeous!

They are smaller than a campbell- and the lighter girls are very pretty- the actually have blue feathers laced on the egdes with fawn. They are small- but larger than a mallard. And also have been very well looked after in the past. They are in great condition, oh...I forgot to check for eggs this morning... I was told they have been laying so I had better go check the boxes.
