6-week Bantam Silkie - boy or girl?

Thank you! I hope he keeps up his lovely nature and quiet demeanor so we can sneak him past ol' radar ears over the back fence haha
:fl :fl
Believe it or not, my paddock area was owned by a law professor at Lewis and CLark and he somehow managed to get it zoned Agricultural, so technically I CAN have roosters - I just want peace with the neighbors :)
Since you're zoned for them and as long as Banana stays civil, you can officially "play dumb" for a while. According to most people - including some knowledgeable chicken people - Silkies are notoriously difficult to solidly ID until they are about three months old.

Sooo ... I'd be proactive and introduce Banana to "Radar Ears" now. By the time he starts crowing, no matter how loudly, your back-fence-buddy will hopefully have fallen for your soft, fluffy little "Easter Bunny in disguise." And who knows, you may BOTH make a friend!

hahah yes they are perfectly nice, and love our other grown girls - we bribe with eggs relentlessly! :) Just had one be a boy a year ago and we had to re-home.. but he was a VERY loud Roo from go!
