6-Week Old Australorp Attempt to Crow

Up until a week ago, we thought he was a she.

He didn't make us wait too long to know 100% for sure. He's barely 6 weeks old! How cute is this?

He'll have to be re-homed, but I have a friend with a ranch and a whole flock of hens for him to protect. So he'll be happy. Gonna miss this little guy.

OMG That's too cute. I love how the pullets all look at him like "What the hell was that?!?!"


I knew I had a boy by about week 6-8. But he made us wait until week 21 to show it off.

Now at week 22, he's trying to mate and annoying the hell out of all the girls as they aren't quite with the program yet.
