6 week old Australorps, very different combs

Hello. I know 6 wks is very young to start speculating but given the marked differences in these two “girls” combs, I’m questioning if we have one of each. I need to activate previously arranged Rooster Contingency Plan if necessary. Thank you all!

:welcome That's a lot of comb for 6 weeks. Be prepared for activation.
That’s what I thought. Sally gets to hang out for now until she/he vocalizes which gender she identifies with. At least I can let my friend know he’s probably got a new arrival coming.
 
Likely a boy. Last year we purchased 3 females and 1 known male BA. Here they are for comparison at 4, 5, and 7 weeks. The hatchery had put red ink on the BA since we also had BJG in the batch, so we could tell them apart, and tween child re-applied red ink to continue to tell the difference, so the first two pics give a bit more red look to the females than is typical.
