We got our barred rocks at about 2 weeks old. They were suppose to be straight run. I am pretty sure we did a really consistently bad job of choosing hens.

There are 4 more. Only one is darker. The rest look remarkably like this. Any thoughts?

Yeah I think they all look like roos also, sorry. The hens are black with white barring while the roos are white with black barring. These deffinately look to be the later :(

Into the Pot they go!

Would need a better look at the comb, but 2nd chicken from left MAY be a pullet. I got my first barred rocks last year(ended up with 7 roos and 3 pullets) and now have 6 hatched from their eggs. I'm fairly certain I have 2 roos, 2 pullets, 1 most likely pullet and 1 most likely roo at one month old. From my experience last year, while the roos developed combs quick, the pullets kept only a yellow ridge line for a very long time. Also the 3 that ended up pullets were all darker in colour. So dark colour, yellow comb ridge line well after others have gotten red/pink ones growing are pullets. I've also noticed a tendency of the pullets to have a dark line on their beak fairly early and develop tail feathers first, but will have to see how current batch actually turns out to be sure if this holds true, at least for my line of them anyway.

No. None of them can be pullets. Cockerels are white with black stripes, and pullets are black with white stripes. These are all white with black stripes, which means cockerel.
