I have 5, 6 week old buff orpingtons. They are from pure bred parents, and the parents have white/pink legs. One of these youngsters has the right colored legs, but the others have light yellow legs. Do the legs sometimes lighten as they get older? Or do I have cross breed Orpingtons on my hands? They are all from the same batch, although the one with the white legs is a little smaller.

Any answers will be appreciated!

One of our buffs have yellow legs but it appeared to be smaller than our others. We have five buff orpington, two rhode island reds, and 6 barred plymouth rocks, and six more buff orpington chicks. we also have to ducks and two tukeys.

The yellow legged ones might seem to be bigger as chicks but you will have to wait and see I guess

Thank you Plymouth21, I will wait and see. Does anyone else have an opinion about the yellow legs? :) It's worrying me terribly!
