6 week old chicken has legs that shake

Last night my 6 week old chick started to have shaky legs and today it is worse. She runs around the yard with the other 2 chicks and eats and drinks fine. But when she stands her legs shake and sometimes she loose her balance. We don't know what to do? Can someone help us?

I think I'd try vitamins & electrolytes from the feed store to start. I'll attach a link to some disease info. Maybe it will help if other symptoms show up.

Thanks for your help! We saw her eating our geraniums so we now have dug them up so she can no longer eat them! We are hoping this helps but for now she is still shaking!

Hi McGluckCluck, How'd it turn out with your shaky chicken? I have a mille fleur doing that now. Lays down a lot. Still happy though. I've had this happen before, still don't know why. (I googled 'chickens shaking legs' and got some of the most apalling porn and a lot of recipes for shake and bake. Luckily your post was among them.)

My chick has a spraddled leg and that leg is shaking. He has no other chicks with him. He is about 3 months old. He eats and drinks water fine. I am not sure what's going on. He is acting fine but the leg that shakes is getting me scared. If there's anyone who knows what to do, please help!!
