I have 9 chicks that hatched out about 6 weeks ago. I know it is early but I wanted some opinions on possible genders. Some I have an idea others I am not sure. They are an Easter Egger, Leghorns or EExLeghorn crosses.

1. I think Pullet, also looks like a Leghorn I think straight comb its been hard to see the ones that are still very small

4. Left. I think a Cockerel, Leghorn
5. Right. I think Pullet and it is mixed, she has a beard when she sits up.

7. Mixed, I think peacomb and not sure on gender. Comb isn't as big as some but it is getting a little red?

one on right is number 7 again.
8. Mixed, black EE legs. Again the comb isn't large but is getting red, I don't know.

9. Eating is my mixed Cockerel, larger and red peacomb.

Any ideas on these would be great, trying to estimate how many pullets I have.

Number four and number nine look like cockerals. The others look like pullets but I would need better pictures of their saddle feathers and neck feathers to tell. A pretty accurate way to tell is feather shape. If the saddle and neck feathers are rounded it should be a pullet, if they are pointed ten it is most likely a rooster.

#6 is very beautiful!! What breed is it? I have a pulley that is about, 8-9 weeks now and she has the SAME coloring! She is a Rhode Island Buff Orpington cross. (We know because we bred her ourself)

She is an Easter Egger, I have one hen who is very similiar so I am guessing that is her chick. The rooster was really pretty too so I am glad she got nice coloring.

Also thank you everyone! It would be great if we are all correct, 2/9 is not bad!
