6 week old chicks won’t leave me alone!

Hi there

I have two chicks about 5-6 weeks old.

Every time I leave their site they just cry until they forget. Sometimes if they are distracted and I disappear they don’t seem to scream.

I’m getting concerned because soon they will be put outside and I don’t want my neighbours to complain, their screams are getting louder and louder.

Anything would help. Thanks

Have you given them time alone with each other since you got them or are you around frequently? Just ignore them, they need to bond with each other and not you.

They have been alone and we leave for full days to go to work but when we are around they just scream and run after us. They get along really well but yeah I’m just a bit worried.

They'll be fine, you can put a stuffed toy in there for them to cuddle with.
