I see saddles in this picture. 100% cockerel.
where do you see the saddles? I am not seeing any yet and keep looking. I am trying to learn so I can figure this out. My cochin was easy to figure out. besides his comb and waddles that came out at 4 weeks HUGE, he also stands more erect and walks very roo like, but he is more docile and even the ones that I am 99.9% sure are pullets beat him up. LOL They are all 10 weeks old.

Well, considering all chickens have saddle feathers, they're there... But I don't see any male specific ones yet. that said, this is a cockerel.

ok. I knew where they should be but where mysterychicken said they saw them and said cockerel because of that I thought she meant she saw pointy ones. That is what I meant by where did she see them. I don't see any pointy ones yet and heard most times they don't come out till 12-14 weeks. But when I had him in my arms yesterday I looked underneath and didn't see any coming in yet either. Just all rounded feathers in so far.
