6 week old EE

She's quite the looker! And blue eggs to boot---WIN!

Grats on you girl, she is very pretty.

Im having the opposite problem with my 6 week old EE. Has some of the dark brown on the wing, seems be a little behind on the feathering, and has a bit of a cocky attitude. Only its comb is so tiny and no pink at all. Infact it has the smallest comb of all my chicks including my 4 week old ones. Just have to wait and see.

You guys got it RIGHT. Here she is on the day she gave me her first blue egg! Of my three EEs she's the last to lay and the only one with with blue eggs.


I think she pinked up so early because she has a ?rose? comb instead of the smaller, lighter colored pea combs of her "sisters".

She has a modified pea comb , many of my easter eggers have similar since they have single comb parentage
