Don't be too sure too early with Brahmas.

For my current flock Omelet was proclaimed a cockerel due to an early red comb but at 12 weeks shows no male saddle or hackle feathers and hasn't crowed. Her(?) comb isn't any bigger now than her sister's, though still a little redder.

For my in-town flock, Rosemary didn't seem suspicious until after 10-12 weeks and didn't reveal himself as Marion until at least 4 months.
