I'm assuming you can't have roosters? We had to rehome two accidental boys.. a Rhode Island Red and a beautiful little golden Sebright it was such a pain

They're illegal in my city I've started telling my kids that he can't stay and they're sad too.

If you have a zoo nearby, they sometimes will take donations to feed their carnivores, if that’s something you’re comfortable with. You deliver the bird live and they will euthanize it prior to feeding.

Wanted to update that he was a rooster just in case anyone comes across this post who is looking for insight too.
