Just following up. They turned out to be pullets, both of them!

Yep # 1 is a boy, #2 is a girl. Notice how #1's comb is already pretty red. Pullet's combs don't start getting pink until they are about to lay.

Just following up. They turned out to be pullets, both of them!

Yep ended up with 14 pullets. And from a hatchery. Thought for sure the packing peanuts would be male. I ended up giving 6 of them away and the remaining 8 are giving me the most delicious eggs !!
