Hello. I have a 6 week old chick who frequently makes this trill noise when she sees or hears something she isn’t familiar with, like a large bird flying overhead. When she does, my older hens take for cover. Sign of a rooster?

All chooks, gender aside, emit a warning signal when they feel endangered. I wouldn't worry.

Yes, all chickens do it. It's their way of saying "watch out, there's something that might want to eat us..." usually the ore birds will look at it, or if it's close enough, they run for cover, like yours.

But this doesn't mean it's a pullet. You can post a pic of the comb, if your worried.
