Not too sure what roo is, but all large roosters are loud. That is their purpose in nature. If you've not spent a lot of time around mature cock birds crowing, you'd likely be amazed just how loud they are. LOL The sound can travel a half mile.

Wow! Well that does not bode well for Mr. roo. Looks like my wife will be getting those Easter Eggers after all.

No need to keep a rooster just because you got one by mistake. Make the wife happy and get her some nice Easter egger hens.
