6 Weeks lavendel araucana

Hey. I have one 6 weeks old lavendel araucana chick. Is it he or she?

These brids are known to take forever to mature but all my Lavender Araucanas with three row combs all ended up being cockerels, so I'll go with cockerel based on that

Two weeks later my chick looks like that. How about no? Someone told me that if the saddle feathers are round, then its rooster (like this chic). If sharp tips, then its cocherel.

Your chick is too young for male specific saddles to show.

Agreed, adult saddle feathers won't come in until they're about 12 weeks. Until then, males and females will have rounded feathers.
