6 weeks old enough to overnight w/o food/water?

My goslings are six weeks old today they live in a coop outside with their parents and have had water and food overnight in there every night and oh boy what a mess every morning so many poops- I am hoping they don’t need the overnight feed and water anymore?

Is this something unique to ducks? Because with chickens, they bed down for the night and do not eat or drink until sun up. Also, those are very adorable ducks.
