Where are my little babies off to?

They grow so quickly! At this age I find it pretty hard to take some decent pictures of them, the little mutts just never keep still, their little beaks always scanning the ground for something yummy...

Since last week they're running between the big chickens, with all this freedom it's even harder to keep track of them..

It took me a long time, but I managed to take some decent photos!

What great pictures! They are beautiful! I think I commented on one of their younger pics asking how you sexed them and you said instinct

did your instincts turn out to be right now that they are getting older? I wish my instincts were good enough to sex the 10 chicks I have now!

I've got 2 hens and 2 roo's, which I guessed, but one pair is switched. I thought the palest one (Mellow Yellow) was a boy, since she's that pale and calm. She reminded me a lot of her daddy. The darkest one (formerly Peppy, now Popeye

) is the biggest one, so I thought he definitely was a girl. Until those very dark feathers started to show on his shoulders... clearly a roo!
