6 weeks today....gender??

Can you all help me with this? Do either of these pullets look like cockeral to you? They turned six weeks old today

I'm sorry both the Barred Rock (bird #1) and the Silver Laced Wyandotte (bird #2) appear to be male.

Sometimes you get lucky with BR as the girls can be precocious and develop comb size early, but redness will always indicate male. I think with that size of comb at 6 weeks, it is male, but you can wait a couple of more weeks before calling.

SLW is male, all male. Fleshy red comb and wattles at 6 weeks.

I really appreciate you sharing. The last flock we received was purchased through someone and they were eight months old and all hens. We ordered 16 hens this time, but I kind of suspected these two might be males, which is why I asked. Thank you so much. The Barred rock is the friendliest chicken I’ve ever been around. So much personality!
