6 Wheaten Ameraucana Chicks - pick up only from Woodstock Ga

No. He is one of my breedings from a cross of original peachick hatched hen and roo. I no longer have his "dad" (a peachick original hatched egg). I picked this one over the others due to his size. He's a pretty heafty guy. Color isn't good on tail and hackles but.....I'm in it for the egg color. I'll improve what I can slowly.

I don't ship (yet) because I only have three hens and by the time I get enough eggs to ship the first eggs are getting older. I've had terrible luck with shipped eggs and have spent hundreds of dollars and ended up with no hatched eggs so IMO, unless you start with 2 dozen, its really not worth shipping eggs. I feel that I'm much better off having youngsters shipped - in the long run- most of the time.

I've told people who have asked about shipping that I will ship chicks once they are fully feathered and can control their body temperatures. They will be priced slightly higher due to them being sexable at that age and all that goes into chick raising, feed, cage cleaning, shavings, etc......

So if you are interested in shipping fully feathered older chicks let me know. I have the economy nest boxes that cost $18 each and I can get the single stall type. Shipping has ranged anywhere from $45 - $65 depending on location.
