If I wasn't waiting to see how many roos I have, I would snatch him right up

They are 8 weeks old and none of them show the red this little guy does. One is showing a lot of red on its head but none show any tendencies towards being a roo. Any way for me to tell?

Are you close to any small airports? You are a 6 hour drive from me but only about 1 1/2 hours by small plane...maybe less. I am trying, unsuccessfully, to get my mind off this little guy. Just setting everything up if I lose this battle with myself

I don't know, I was really surprised that this guy showed the comb development so early (3 weeks it started growing and by 4 weeks it was getting red, these pics were taken at 5 weeks and it's pretty obvious). I don't know about small airports but I'm 45 minutes from Syracuse Int'l (and I work 10 minutes from the airport). I think there might be a small airport in Rome, which is also about 1/2 an hour away (opposite direction as Syracuse, but still only 1/2 an hour) he really is awfully cute, and if anything like his dad a very good Rooster, good protector, but not aggressive towards people, dogs, cats, horses, etc...

Chittenango is 6 miles from my house.... I didn't even know they had an airport..

you mentioned 6 hours drive time, but which direction? my dad likes taking trips, and is headed for Massachusetts in a few weeks.

We live about 50 miles West of Philadelphia. Right now, I am fighting some kind of illness in my 2 - 4 week old peeps. I have no idea what it is. There is no outward signs of illness, just lethargy. Maybe a little sneezing but nothing abnormal. No abnormal poops, etc. No discharges. I am treating with sulmed...hoping for the best and that it doesn't spread to everyone. Sorry, but I just can't get this little guy right now

Hopefully, everything will be back to normal in a couple days and this will be all behind me....

that's horrible, I hope everything turns out ok and they recover.
