Our Whole foods had some fertile heritage eggs once. They had brown, blue and marans.Thank you.
On another note. I looked at the eggs at Whole Foods and they had inserts in the eggs and told what breed laid those eggs. They had eggs from three different farms there, their farm bane was on the carton. One farm had eggs from Amberlinks. Another had eggs from Bovan Browns and I can't remember what the other one was. Those were from the brown eggs. Too bad they weren't fertile.
Quote: I was just wondering. I guess I forget that many people HAVE to buy hatching eggs. I keep roosters around so for the most part I have fertile chicken eggs. Right now I did take all of the roosters out of my laying pen but they are still there in my heritage pens. Now I just need my heritage birds to lay more and more eggs. Most have not started to lay yet as they were summer hatches last year.
eh could have been, know I have made a walmart stop coming out of a month long hospital stay before on the way home.....Does that mean it was you, @Amberjem ?
Oh wow, that was amazing! Thanks for sharing the video
