I had an accidental cool down tonight. I knocked the wires loose from the thermostat while I was cleaning around the incubator but I though they were back in. I just put 16 more Serama eggs in today! I am just going to pretend it's Spring...

Today was the 7 day candle for me. The TJs eggs are doing awesome! I have 17 out of 24 developing. There were 3 blood rings and 4 clears. Amazing for eggs that came out of the cold shelf in a grocery store!

7 of 11 Blue Australorp eggs are developing too--good for shipped eggs.

Now what am I going to do with these chicks if they hatch well?

Just read that they're 17-19 days. Once hatched, I will have to tube feed them.

Interesting... tube feeding takes them of my list

I'm too lazy for that.

I have 80+ quail on day 14 so I guess they have a few more days to (hopefully) hatch. I hand turned those 80- 99 eggs 2x a day for two weeks, so I guess I'm not that lazy.
