I heard peeping early this morning and soon after two Silkie eggs pipped.

2 more Silkie and 6 Golden Cuckoo Marans eggs to go.

It is bad this year--a type A. The recomendation was to insist on getting anti viral medicine ASAP if you get the fever.

I imagine those of us over 50 will do better with it since we have been exposed to it as children.

The vaccine this year missed the boat.

This morning I checked my water and one of the channels was dry. One hour later here is what I have. A full day early! This is a mutt from an OE.
