My son is killing me. Lol hes playing a video game with cheeping birds in it. I keep jumping up and running to the bator and looking. Im not feeling very positive though.

no pips, rocking or peeping at all. This is my first time incubating though so im gonna chalk it up as a learning experience

Aww, I hope you get at least a couple. If not, like you said, it is definitely a learning experience!!! And your son would be killing me also with that game!!!

Starting to go from anxious to stressed to....no noise no pips. Would the drop in temp from power outage cause some delay?

I'm sure I read on here that dropped temps usually do delay hatching, that's part of the reason that they've come up with the cool-down theory. I may be wrong about the cool-down theory but I'm sure the dropped temps part is right.

if you can wait til January 10th, snow shovels will be clearance for about a buck fifty here.. they're really good for shoveling fertilizer! ?
I'm running out of ideas... any need for a 17 year old who will wash dishes if you take his cell phone away? I'll even add ten bucks to the deal.

Sold!!! We have no cell service out here so I'm sure we'll have a spotless house if we don't let him know that.

Still no power and It's 29 outside. I put bags of hot water in the bator and brooder to keep the temps up. It's maintaining 93 so far.

So far, we have put 13 in the brooder, and as of right now, I have one 3/4 zipped LA, and 6 others that have pipped. 7:20 this morning was hatch day, so there is still plenty on time for the others to want to think about doing something.

Still nothing from my BLRW eggs in the strawberry container. I do know they didn't all look promising at lockdown, but at LEAST one should have made it. I'm dying that I can't see what's going on!!

Anyone hatched Wy's and know if they're usually slower or anything??
