6th Annual BYC New Year's Day 2015 Hatch-A-Long

@ronott1 My tom turkey has been gone for 2 weeks 6 days. I got a turkey egg today. Any chance it could be fertile? And good links to incubating turkey eggs?
I would definitely set it or wait and see if your hen lays a couple of more and set them together.

Here is a link to the 2014 Cinco De Mayo Hatchathon. It started when a group hatching for the 2012 Easter Hatchalong wanted to try setting turkey eggs and so a bunch of us did. The first post has some links you might find helpful.

okay, I feel better

The sole hatchling! She is a stunner, two day old, bearded female olive egger! At least it is a girl and she is going to get so attached due to being on her own.

OMG...so, so cute!!!

What breeds did you use to make this olive egger?
She is second generation on father's side and third generation on the hen's side. Mother looks just like her, black & brown with beard & cheeks. Dad is a blue wheaten.
