I know this is early to ask, but will anyone have Araucana eggs for the Easter HAL? I tried getting some for NYD, but getting araucana eggs at the last minute didn't work out so great. I can even pre-order them, if necessary.

If I had candled them, I would have found that about 15 of 24 are already showing veins...I would have been very excited....

Oh oh ohhhhhhh! For Brahma eggs, I am sure I can find something incredibly mean/ hurtful (to me) you've said in the last 100+ pages!

I have the flu. I've gotten WAY behind over the last few days. Right now I'm "only" 16 pages behind... perhaps I can catch up before candling tonight!

On the bright side, I haven't been at all tempted to candle early, lol.

So sorry! Hoping it's gone before Christmas! Get the rest needed to beat this stuff.

Just out of curiosity, how did you pick the random post?

Did you;

1. Wait until a certain day then do a random drawing of the total posts or;
2. Choose a random number between 1 and a hoped for total posts or;
3. Some other method?

Michaelf chose the post number.

When I chose, I used a random number generator to pick a number within a range. There is also a second number picked in case the winner declines.

How about the AL eggs?

I have apparent good news. My HAL broody will probably get something out of those horribly packed shipped eggs. I couldn't see enough NOT going on to ditch any of them will look again on Sat or Mon.
