Scooping daily is great, but I don't think it's necessary. Scooping every other day or even every 2-3 days is fine unless you really want to scoop it everyday. Composting is a good idea or if you have a garden, the poop makes great fertilizer. I know many duck owners on here use their ducks messy, poopy water to water their plants. I'm glad the sand is working well

Messy poopy water has resulted in a bumper crop of figs and lemons. I use it on all my fruit trees. It works better than fertilizer spikes.
