Basically hoping I don't have any stealth cockerels in the 4 that look like pullets now.

What's the latest anyone has ever had a Serama comb out?

Mistletoe: Pullet? (Little bit of red in the face, none in the comb)

Oscar: Cockerel for sure

Selkie: Pullet? (Longest comb of the suspected girls, suddenly squabbling a lot)

Argent: Pullet (sure on her)

Pen Pen (pullet, sure on her)

Pop Tart: cockerel (I'm 99% positive about him, red comb, red face, horribly squabbly jerk, I just keep second guessing myself that I actually got a visual chocolate cockerel, since the gene is sex linked)

I was pretty sure Pop Tart was a young roo at 5 weeks based on comb growth, but he showed NO red until nearly 7 weeks. Neither has crowed yet.

I wonder if there is a developmental difference in human-raised and broody raised social development like crowing?

Well my Jasper started crowing at around 8-10 weeks, but not excessive. Usually just to get my attention. He was hatched in December, so he's been raised inside with his half silkie sister.
Here he is at 4 weeks. Comb is not quite red.

And then again at 6 weeks, much redder.

And now at 3 mo and 3 weeks old
