This is a pretty recent coop that we got at the Habitat For Humanity store near us. We looked around and found this old TV cabinet that spun.
We paid 7 bucks for it. It was there at the store since 1984.
It had solid wood on all sides. So we took the wood off the sides and put a door on and some hardware cloth. We also put wheels on the bottom that we found in the garage.
It is about 2x3 and we are hoping it will make a great little house for a Serama pair. Here are some pictures...
It is kinda in rough condition as it is being sanded and prepped for a paint job
The Door is opened in this one. The wood on the sides is so the shavings will stay in.
And how can it be a chicken coop without an uhhh....chicken??
Close up of Henri's head...
