Last night a coon bit in least one toe off of 7 of my teenage chicks. Didn't even notice until now. We are washing their feet with salt water, should we wrap them? Some are acting like their in pain and walking, but not very much. What should I do about this situation?

The chickens will heal. Do you have them in a wire bottomed pen? Whatever the case, it is time to move them to safer quarters. Also time to capture and kill the predator.

I once had a coon do the same thing to a pen of pigeons. Actually killed them through hardware cloth. The very next night he met his demise.

They killed two through the wire bottom. We are working on a different pen for them. They are house chickens for the next day or two lol. We are having a little 'party' to hunt them. As there are 2 adults and 4 babies that we've seen

I mean it could be, but I saw a coon under the cage when I opened the door after hearing the ruckus outside.
