These are my week old today Blue Australorps. 6 girls (
) to add to my existing flock of Blacks - 1 rooster, 14 laying hens, one 5 week old unknown sexed hatch - still hoping for a girl.
Today they got their first "sand box". Dirt from our property, which they have had small amounts to scratch around in on the coop floor, now all in one location.
I think it is a hit.
