I have six girls at the moment.
Elphaba and Glinda are Starlight Green Eggers(I think) and are 15 weeks old
Nessa is a Sapphire Olive Egger and is 14 weeks
Bocky is a Black Australorp and is 14 weeks
Cordelia is a Cream Legbar and is 10 weeks
Ophelia is an Opal Legbar and is 10 weeks
I’m in process of finishing the last few bits of the coop: adding tech, decor, and trim as well as integrating the first four to the younger two. They were all inside in brooder cages until this week and they’re catching on to outside life. So far it’s going reasonably well. Bocky in particular is determined that the younger ones know that she’s bigger and stronger and she pecks at them whenever she sees them(they do have a safe place to hide from her).
None have yet shown even an inkling of laying yet; all of their combs are still small and pink and none have much by way of wattles. I’m new to all this and just reading and learning everything I can. Here are my girls and my coop/run as it exists now.
