7 month chickens hatched in March not laying

Update, my barnevelder layed her first egg at 7-1/2 months. Specked Sussex and black austrolorp, same age- none yet. Columbian Wyandotte who’s also same age laying but hers are still rather small. Two barnyard mix Easter Eggers ( same age) are still laying huge eggs almost daily

Any update on your ladies? I'm in Virginia and October and November was very slow but seems to be picking up, now. I have 13 pullets that are 6-7 months old and haven't started yet... but another 22 between 6 months and 1 1/2 years old that are laying on average every other day. Is the same happening with you?

I only have the six, they are all 9 months now. 4 are laying and believe it or not - my black austrolorp just started squatting this week. Looks like she’ll lay soon, which would leave my speckled Sussex the only one not laying. Her comb isn’t red yet either, she may delay until spring?

I have 5 - leghorn, EE, buff O, and Australopes - nada,

I think mid January they will start. That is when my older birds start coming back into lay.
