I have a 7 month old polish and she is hunched over, head down, walks really slow,is under weight and let’s her wings droop. Her poop looks normal and I have been giving her vitamins in her water and I also thought it could be worms so I put de food grade power in her food she ate yesterday normal but doesn’t want to eat today but she will drink water. Nothing is working and she keeps sleeping with her head tucked into her feathers standing. She had a sister who did the same things but she had been doing those things even when I bought them from this lady 2 weeks ago so I took it as that’s just how she acted because she was eating and drinking water but that wasn’t the case and she died two days ago and I didn’t realize until it was too late.

Sorry about your chickens. What do you feed? How many do you have? I would fo ahead and treat with Corid for possible coccidiosis, since she is new to your soil. Make sure she drinks enough of it. Pour a little of her food. Give her some undiluted Corid 1/2 ml twice a day as well. I would also get some Valbazen or SafeGuard horse paste or liquid goat wormer, and worm her. Offer some scrambled egg, wet chicken feed (and some dry,) and other treat if she will take it. Pictures of poop may be helpful.

Is her tail up or down? Is her crop empty, full, puffy, or firm? Feel of her lower belly to see if it feels full of fluid, or ia enlarged. Look her belly and skin over for signs of lice or mites. Does she lay eggs?

She only drinks water right now and her tail is down also her wings. Her poop was looking pretty normal and no mites but thank u. I will take your advice and update you

Let us know if you treat with Corid. Do you have any antibiotics? Is she able to stand or walk now? I would give her fluids with dropper or syringe. It is hard to know if she has coccidiosis or perhaps a reproductive disorder. Was she vaccinated for Mareks?

I just bought the corid and she will drink liquids and she stands just a little wobble when she does. I have no idea if she did get vaccinated for markers probably not the people I got her from seemed careless. She has never laid an egg before and her stomach seems kinda big for the fact she hasn’t ate much which is weird
