7 month old silver polish not laying

We have 3 silver polish chickens and they are not laying eggs. We got 3 small ones about a month ago, but nothing since then. We have them on a 16% laying feed and cracked corn. We also give them oyster shells. Is there anything we are doing wrong? They are kept in a fenced in area of the yard, so we know they are not laying somewhere.

My polish have always laid pretty well, and some have been really good about hiding their nests, so another really good look around is in order. Look under things, and on top of, search all places that seem impossible.

16% protein which is in layer ration is the minimum they should receive daily, by adding cracked corn, which is about 8% protein you are diluting their protein down too much which can affect laying. Either feed layer and nothing else, or switch to a feed that has 18-20% protein, and still feed a bit of corn. A separate bowl of oyster shells will take care of the extra calcium needs.
