7 sisters?

I dont know how old they are to be honest, the dates i was given don't marry. he said they were born around early Jan, but I first heard about them on the 27/12/18??? unless he meant to say November?

the light fluffy one has all new feathers growing on the neck and fluffs them up a bit and runs at the others. Others have done that too mind! (the new feathers are a different colour.) a few have new feathers growing down the back of the necks, head and in places.

I see two cockerels in that batch of newest photos. One darker and one lighter. You can see the pointed saddle feathers developing. With the mix of leg colors I'd say they were mixes of hatchery quality Buff Orpingtons and probably Buff Rocks. May have had some Rhode Island Red mixed into them a few generations back to get the yellow legs and been bred back to buffs to get the lighter color?

Given the past time lines on this thread, I think your chickens are just old enough to start growing them. Like a young man growing peach fuzz, they'll get one or two here, then more and more, until they develop that lovely flow of feathers. Give it a little more time and I think it will become more obvious to you.
